On March 2, 2001 Chris wrote Stan a letter urging him to "come to the table and under a covering of accountability resolve the issues or, you can face the filing of criminal complaints against you." This was a clear and very fair warning that Stan chose to ignore.

Two weeks later, on March 19, 2001, Chris writes to Stan again and urges him to reconsider his circumstances and again invites him to "come to the table" and assures him that Chris will help him deal with the issues in a descreet manner. Again, Stan chose to ignore Chris' warnings and criminal complaints were filed.

Dear Stan:

You have exactly thirty days from the date of this letter to open a dialogue with me and through your Board of Directors and then to make possible a hearing of the serious allegations I am making against you for the sake of finding fact and resolution.  These allegations are serious and accuse you of criminal conduct with respect to your handling of donor monies and other issues.

If I do not hear from you within thirty days of the date of this letter, I am advising you that I will file criminal complaints against you and Stan Telchin Ministries, Inc.  Those complaints will allege fraud, embezzlement, theft and extortion and said complaint will be accompanied by hundreds of pages of supporting documentation.

I will not stop until you have been held fully accountable for what you have done, said and represented. You have a choice: you either come to the table and under a covering of accountability resolve the issues, or, you can face the filing of criminal complaints against you and what might result from such filings.

RE:  My letter of March 2, 2001

Dear Stan:

It has been about two weeks since I wrote you and I have not heard from you.  I am very concerned and you need to understand the difficult position you have put us in.

You hired Ann as the ministry secretary and she was also a co-signer on the accounts.  She handled donations, receipted them and desposited them.  After having worked with non profit boards of all sizes all over the United States, and after having seen my fair share of non profit fraud and mismanagement, I can assure you that if the IRS ever finds out what you have done with donor money, not only will you be in serious legal jeapordy, but so will Ann as secretary of the corporation. Your use of donor money for your personal benefit is a text book case of the IRS prohibition against private inurement.  If you do not come to the table and work with Bob Blakeslee and myself and get the mess cleaned up, I am then left with no choice but to proceed with criminal complaints to separate Ann from your fraud.  Not only is Ann my concern and your donors, but every single one of your board members is at risk.

I am aware of the January board meeting you called in which you announced to the board that I had committed criminal acts against you and Stan Telchin Ministries including felonies.  You know this is not true in the least as I have been convicted of no such crimes against you.  I ask you sincerely to come to the table and get this worked out with my assurance Bob and I will do so as discreetly as possible.

Again, if I do not here from you quickly I will be left with no choice but to proceed with legal action against you.  I hope you will stop the deception and work with us.  We are not against you.

Chris
