Stan tried three times to get a restraining order against my husband - despite the fact we had not even been in the state of Florida for close to two years. The court would deny his petitions three times and would do so without so much as even granting a hearing. Stan would sign his petitions to the court under oath as "Rev. Stan Telchin." His claims to have been ordained have been in doubt for years and he has consistently refused to produce his ordination credentials. If it is true that he is not ordained as he claims, then he lied to the court when filing these petitions. In almost every case and almost without exception, a judge will grant a temporary restraining order and then schedule a hearing quickly with both parties to determine the merit of the peition. Stan's repeated petitions were denied three times without a hearing and later an officer of the court would tell us that "The court is aware of Mr. Telchin's true intent here and this court will never grant him a peition."
