In his book "Betrayed!", Stan states that he was 'Man of the Year' for an organization. He does not disclose what organization it was.  Twenty five years later, that mystery would be solved when he spoke at Calvary Chapel Crossfields and told his audience, "I was 'Man of the Year' for the Hebrew Home for the Aged in Washington, DC."  There was a serious problem with what he represented: the Hebrew Home was contacted and they clearly stated they never gave him that award and further, they have never even given out that award!  Stan's lying at Calvary Chapel Crossroads would later be exposed in a scathing newspaper article.
